Arsenal Allegedly Ramp Up Pursuit of Jorrel Hato to Outpace Chelsea

Arsenal have allegedly ramped up their pursuit of Ajax defender Jorrel Hato.

The 19-year-old has made quite an impression in recent seasons at Ajax, surpassing the 100 appearances mark before even turning 19 and establishing himself as a key figure in the backline.

Hato has caught the eye of several top European clubs, notably Chelsea and Arsenal. According to multiple reports, including insights from CaughtOffside, Arsenal have intensified their efforts to secure the young talent. “Arsenal have initiated official conversations with Ajax and have had constructive discussions with Jorrel Hato’s representatives,” one source reportedly shared with CaughtOffside.

Additionally, Arsenal is believed to have put forward a six-year contract for the promising defender.

It has been suggested that Arsenal’s interest in Hato has been strong since January, as they seek to capitalise on the opportunity before Chelsea finalises their own deal. The Blues have reportedly engaged in talks with Hato and his agent earlier this off-season.
