Real Betis winger Antony will be available for the clash against Real Madrid on Saturday after the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) rescinded his red card from last weekend’s match.
The Manchester United winger, currently on loan in Seville, received a red card during Betis’ 2-1 victory over Getafe on Sunday.
The RFEF’s disciplinary committee determined that Antony was attempting to play the ball when he challenged Getafe defender Juan Iglesias.
Since his arrival in the January transfer window, Antony has scored three goals for Betis in six appearances across all competitions.
The 25-year-old Brazil international became Manchester United’s second-most expensive signing when he transferred from Ajax in 2022 for £81.3 million, although he has faced challenges in finding his form at Old Trafford.
Defending champions Real Madrid are positioned second in La Liga, level on points with leaders Barcelona, while Betis are vying for a place in European competition, sitting in seventh place.
