Our AFL analysts have submitted their predictions for round six, as teams gear up to resume action after Gather Round.
The round kicks off with the customary Easter Thursday showdown between Brisbane and Collingwood at the Gabba, revisiting the clash from the 2023 grand final.
Last year, Collingwood triumphed in both meetings, but the reigning champions come into this match unbeaten after five rounds.

North Melbourne and Carlton take centre stage on Good Friday, with the Roos’ pace and youthful energy posing a risk of plunging the Blues’ season into turmoil. Carlton will be missing key forwards Harry McKay and Brodie Kemp, compounding their struggles.
Melbourne is in dire need of a victory, but faces a Fremantle outfit it hasn’t managed to defeat since 2022. The Dockers have been dominant over the Dees in Perth, Melbourne, and even Alice Springs in recent encounters.
Adelaide will want to prove their worth when they host GWS on Saturday. The Crows have faced narrow losses against tough opponents in the past fortnight and require a win to lift spirits.
The Suns will aim to see off Richmond swiftly, while the Bombers will look to do likewise with the winless West Coast.
Sydney finally ended their losing streak against Port Adelaide in last season’s finals, but the Power had previously enjoyed a run of eight consecutive victories against them, including a substantial 100-point victory late in 2024.
The Bulldogs and Saints will be in the Sunday night feature, just before the Easter Monday showdown between Geelong and Hawthorn.
The Hawks are keen to bounce back after a lacklustre performance at Gather Round against Port Adelaide, while the Cats are positioning themselves as genuine contenders once again.
