Brisbane Broncos skipper Adam Reynolds has revealed that he has attracted interest from the Wests Tigers as he aims to secure his position beyond the current season.
The 34-year-old playmaker is yet to finalise a new contract with the Broncos but has consistently expressed his wish to remain with the team for at least another year.
Despite this, the club has not yet reached an agreement with their captain, prompting speculation regarding the Tigers, who are poised to release Lachlan Galvin shortly.
Speaking on Triple M’s The Rush Hour With Ben Dobbin and Elliott Lovejoy, the experienced halfback discussed his contract situation and the possibility of a move to Concord.

“Yes, I’ve had some interest,” Reynolds shared. “There’s definitely some discussions happening. My focus, however, is on securing my future here at the Broncos.”
“I know many have probably heard plenty about this already. For me, it’s a matter of allowing my manager to handle those conversations in the background,” he added.
“Brisbane feels like home, regardless of what happens. Our family is settled here, the kids are happy, my wife is content, and when everything’s harmonious, you need to make decisions that feel right.”

Reynolds is keen on continuing his career with Brisbane until retirement, but the club is currently facing challenges managing their salary cap duties.
The contract for Selwyn Cobbo is not yet finalised for 2026 and beyond; Reynolds knows this may be causing delays in his own contract negotiations.

“We need to be realistic; we’re trying to navigate through various scenarios while retaining players at the club, which is challenging,” he mentioned.
“I definitely don’t want to push anyone out. It’s a slow-moving process they are managing behind the scenes. You can’t rush a decision; it’s important to consider all options and ensure you’re satisfied with the outcome.”
“It’s a significant commitment, regardless of where things lead us,” he concluded.
Reynolds joined the Broncos in 2022 following a distinguished career with South Sydney and came close to securing a premiership in 2023 before narrowly losing to the Panthers.
