Esports competitors from four nations, including Australia, are set to converge next month on the digital racetrack for an exciting new international event.
The Four Nations Esports Cup Qualifier is scheduled to take place from 19th to 21st July, featuring participants from Australia, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, and the newly included South Africa. The competition will unfold at iRacing’s Okayama International Race Circuit in Japan.
Those who successfully qualify will advance to the Four Nations Esports Cup Final, where they will take part in two 30-minute races located at iRacing’s Mount Panorama Motor Racing Circuit and the iconic Silverstone Circuit in the UK on 3rd August.

Initially known as the Tri-Nations Esports Cup, this sim racing event commenced in 2022, where drivers from Motorsport United Kingdom and Motorsport Australia competed for the inaugural Esports title.
Motorsport New Zealand joined the fray in 2023, paving the way for Australia to claim the championship in 2024. The addition of Motorsport South Africa this year enhances the significance of the competition.
The Four Nations Esports Cup will feature a pre-event 48-hour qualification time attack from 19th to 21st July, leading up to the main event in August.
Participants will race on the iRacing platform using the McLaren 720S GT3 EVO, with a fixed setup to promote a level playing field.
Each country will field a team of 10 drivers, culminating in a total grid of 40 for the main broadcast event on 3rd August.
The nation that accrues the highest points from its drivers over the two races will earn the Four Nations Esports Cup and enjoy bragging rights until the next event in 2026.

No Motorsport Australia Esports Licence is necessary for the Qualifier in July, although it will be required for those advancing to the final in August.
