Perth Glory has confirmed the departure of four players from the Isuzu UTE A-League club as their contracts come to an end. Tass Mourdoukoutas, Yuto Misao, Takuya Okamoto, and Hiroaki Aoyama will all be leaving the organisation.
Defender Mourdoukoutas, who joined the club during the mid-season transfer window on a free transfer from Western Sydney Wanderers, made eight appearances for Glory in the final part of the campaign.
Meanwhile, Misao and Okamoto, both signed in January on contracts until the season’s close, featured in 12 and six matches, respectively. Head coach David Zdrilic is now working on reshaping his defensive lineup ahead of the 2024-25 Isuzu UTE A-League season.


28-year-old midfielder Aoyama is also set to leave, having made five appearances during the season after joining on a one-year agreement following a successful pre-season trial.

Glory’s manager Zdrilic is certainly making strides in bolstering the squad ahead of the new Isuzu UTE A-League season.

Having previously secured deals for defensive pair Scott Wootton and Sam Sutton from Wellington Phoenix, the Glory also achieved a notable sign-back by acquiring two-time championship winner Brian Kaltak from Central Coast Mariners.

Additionally, the club has brought in Melbourne City’s promising young talent Arion Sulemani, and 25-year-old Callum Timmins has returned to Western Australia, signing a three-year contract after leaving Newcastle Jets.
