PSV Eindhoven has officially announced the exit of French centre-back Olivier Boscagli following a six-year stint with the club.
The 27-year-old Boscagli departs as his contract comes to an end.
“I’d like to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported me throughout my time here, near and far,” Boscagli expressed on the club’s website.
“I’m grateful to my teammates, the coaches, the PSV staff, and, of course, the fans. I will always cherish my roots and the journey I’ve experienced, which includes setbacks, uncertainties, injuries, victories, celebrations, and trophies. Each moment has shaped me into the person I am today.”
Potential Move to Brighton
Boscagli joined PSV from OGC Nice in 2019 and has since made 204 appearances for the club, which boasts a record 26 Dutch league titles. During his time at PSV, he secured two Eredivisie championships, won the KNVB Beker on two occasions, and claimed three Johan Cruyff Shields.
The Monaco native has been rumoured to be on the radar of Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion. The Seagulls made an attempt to sign Boscagli last summer, but PSV were unwilling to part ways with him at that time.
