Manly Sea Eagles captain Daly Cherry-Evans chuckled off a cheeky F-bomb during a halftime discussion with Fox League.
This came after a tightly contested first half where the Sea Eagles managed to score late, securing a 6-0 lead against the Wests Tigers.
When questioned about any frustration stemming from the close contest, Evans replied that everything was fine.

“To be honest, I haven’t felt frustrated at all. We’ve had to put in a lot of effort, and the Tigers really turned up,” he remarked.
“I’m genuinely pleased with how hard we’ve worked against them. If we execute our game plan effectively in the second half, we should see the rewards.”
When asked about strategies for the second half, Cherry-Evans let out the memorable F-bomb.
“We just need to keep laying it down this side of the field. Eventually, we’re going to score some classy tries. So, we just need to f–ken—oh, I mean, we just need to trust ourselves,” he said, flashing a broad smile after correcting himself.
Fox’s Yvonne Sampson found the moment quite humorous post-interview, commenting: “Goodness me, that was quite the slip-up from DCE!”.
The Wests Tigers failed to score in the first half, with Sea Eagles winger Jason Saab crossing for the opening try in the 39th minute.
Saab was assisted by Tom Trbojevic, and Reuben Garrick successfully converted, giving Manly the lead.
