Brisbane Roar have secured the signing of promising Olyroos defender Hosine Bility on a permanent basis for an undisclosed fee, as confirmed by the Isuzu UTE A-League club.
Bility has committed to a two-year contract with the Roar, transitioning from Portuguese side CD Mafra, where he initially joined the team on loan last season.
The 24-year-old, who has had previous stints with FC Midtjylland in Denmark and Fram Reykjavík in Iceland before joining the Roar, made 24 appearances in the 2024-25 season.
“I’m thrilled to be returning to the Roar for the upcoming two seasons and can’t wait to don the jersey again,” Bility expressed.
“It was an honour to represent the fans last year, and this season will be different. I’m motivated to put in my best effort ahead of the season to ensure we’re competing for finals football.”
Bility becomes the third player to finalise a permanent deal with the Roar this off-season, joining new signings Milorad Stajic and James McGarry (from Aberdeen), while Keegan Jelacic (after the end of his loan), as well as Florin Berenguer, Louis Zabala, Adam Zimarino, Corey Brown, and Rafael Struick, have all departed Suncorp Stadium.

Roar head coach Michael Valkanis remarked: “Securing Hosine is a significant moment for the club.
“I’m confident that Hosine will continue to evolve into a formidable defender for the club and play an essential role for the team this season.
“Crucially, I have no doubt that Hosine’s dedication in the lead-up to the new campaign will enable him to represent the fans with pride.”
