Melbourne Victory has announced the signing of Keegan Jelacic from Belgian club KAA Gent, with the talented midfielder joining the Isuzu UTE A-League 2024-25 Grand Finalists until the conclusion of the 2026-27 season.
The 22-year-old Australian returns to the A-Leagues on a permanent deal after spending the 2024-25 season with Brisbane Roar.
Jelacic made his debut for Brisbane in 2021 before moving to Perth Glory, where his impressive performances earned him a transfer to Europe in 2023.

“Joining one of the premier clubs in the league is always an exciting opportunity,” Jelacic stated.
“I’m eager to experience the club’s passion and contribute positively on the pitch. My goal is to bring success to Melbourne Victory alongside its members and fans.”

Last season, Jelacic netted two goals in 24 appearances with the Roar.
He is the second new addition to Victory this off-season, following Louis D’Arrigo’s transfer from Poland.
“Keegan’s signing ahead of the 2025-26 season will strengthen our midfield as we aim to improve upon last season’s performance,” said Victory head coach Arthur Diles.
“We have a solid foundation to build upon, and we’re excited to see Keegan showcase his talents and help us achieve success.”
