The Super Netball competition in Australia has received a significant boost from Hollywood, following the announcement of a global broadcasting partnership between Netball Australia and All Women’s Sports Network, a company founded by Whoopi Goldberg.
This partnership will see Super Netball being broadcast in 65 additional countries over the next three years.
AWSN is also aligned with other notable organisations, including the UEFA Women’s National League, the Women’s Tennis Association, and the WNBL.
The network is dedicated exclusively to women’s sports.

In a video statement, Goldberg expressed her excitement, stating, “I am so proud to welcome you to AWSN. It’s clear your fans love you, and we want to ensure you reach audiences everywhere so that everyone gets to know you.”
Netball Australia’s CEO, Stacey West, termed the agreement a “breakthrough”.

West remarked, “Suncorp Super Netball has transitioned into an unmissable spectacle for fans, not merely something they seek out.” She added, “This historic agreement guarantees netball’s presence on screens globally and solidifies our position at the forefront of women’s sports.
“AWSN shares our ambition of elevating women’s sport to new levels. Together, we’re crafting a stage for our athletes and the game to shine brighter than ever before.”
