Former AFL player Warwick Capper has received a five-year ban from all league venues following accusations of inappropriate conduct during last year’s grand final.
The lively ex-Sydney Swans and Brisbane Lions forward, who gained notoriety for his off-field antics throughout his 124-game career, was present at the AFL Grand Final held at the MCG, which featured his two former clubs.
Sources indicate that the 62-year-old was inebriated and directed vulgar language at MCG staff members.

Reports suggest that catering staff lodged complaints against Capper, asserting that he bullied a female employee.
According to Nine’s Tom Morris, Capper allegedly remarked to a caterer, “You’re a nice looking girl. You’d find work in my brothel.”
The AFL has confirmed that Capper has been issued a “banning notice,” prohibiting him from attending any AFL matches or events at the MCG, including cricket fixtures and concerts.
Capper informed 9News that he was present at the North Melbourne versus Sydney game at Marvel Stadium on April 5.
It is reported that Capper was slated to meet with the AFL next week to discuss the concussions he experienced during his playing days and how he is managing the repercussions today.

Capper’s manager, Tony Marks, commented to News Corp, “He did make a playful remark to someone in the vicinity. However, it was not meant with any malice. He certainly did not approach her directly to say it.”
“There’s a generation of people who didn’t grow up with Warwick, but for 95% of those in that room, he was just being his entertaining self,” he continued. “He’s aware that he needs to be more mindful with his jokes, but at no juncture did he wish to offend anyone. It was a joke taken out of context.”
