The Macarthur Bulls are thrilled to announce the signing of former Melbourne City and Sydney FC full-back Callum Talbot on a multi-year contract.
Talbot marks Macarthur’s inaugural signing of the off-season, joining the club after a successful stint at City, where he celebrated lifting the Isuzu UTE A-League Championship following a 1-0 victory in the Grand Final against Melbourne Victory.
At just 24 years old, the former Olyroo has enjoyed three years with City after two seasons at the Sky Blues, making his debut in the Isuzu UTE A-League in 2021.

Having savoured the taste of Championship glory last season with City, Talbot joins Macarthur intent on clinching more silverware as the Bulls prepare to compete in both the Isuzu UTE A-League and the AFC Asian Champions League Two, following their triumph in the 2024 Australia Cup.
“It feels surreal to sign with the Bulls,” Talbot expressed.
“I’m really eager to dive into training, meet the team and coaching staff, and start this new chapter.
“I believe the Bulls align perfectly with my personal ambitions and my aspirations for both myself and the club.
“I’ve always admired the aggressive attacking style of play they displayed throughout the season. It was thrilling to watch, and I knew I wanted to be a part of it.”
“I’m a dedicated full-back who enjoys making runs up and down the flank. I plan to bring my experience and the insights I’ve gained from my previous clubs.”
“I’m determined to win. After experiencing Championship success last season, I’m chasing that feeling again. I know I can achieve that with the Bulls.”
Talbot’s arrival helps offset the departure of fellow full-back Ivan Vujica, who left the club after three seasons.
