Eddie Farah, the trainer for the NSW Blues and brother of Robbie Farah, found himself in the spotlight during the second half of Origin I after drawing the ire of referee Ashley Klein due to a moment of gamesmanship.
Following a knock-on by Zac Lomax, the Maroons were awarded a scrum just 10 metres from their try line.
As Blues players hydrated, Farah picked up the ball and handed it to Mitch Moses. In a swift act, Moses tossed the ball aside while Daly Cherry-Evans gestured toward him.

The trainer, wearing an orange shirt, escalated the situation further by kicking the ball over the dead ball line.
Cherry-Evans, visibly frustrated, looked towards the referee with his hands raised in disbelief.
Klein took notice and blew his whistle, issuing a warning to the trainer.
“Trainer, if you do that again you won’t be allowed back on the field,” Klein stated firmly.
The incident may not have been apparent on the main broadcast, but Nine’s spider cam footage revealed the reason behind Klein’s intervention.
As Farah exited the field, he was met with boos from the pro-Queensland crowd.
“There’s a bit of gamesmanship at play there,” remarked Cameron Smith on Nine.
However, the Maroons squandered their chance, as Valentine Holmes was tackled on the very first attempt.
