Having participated in all 23 matches this season leading the Mariners to the Elimination Finals, Rasmussen stands out as the club’s joint-top scorer. She has maintained impressive form, netting three goals in her last five matches, concluding the regular season with a total of six goals.

Her nomination comes from a selection panel appointed by the Australian Professional Leagues (APL), which consists of media experts and technical football professionals. They vote on a 3-2-1 scoring basis at the end of every nominated monthly period throughout the season.
As the club’s first signing for the 2023-24 season, Rasmussen has significantly increased her goal-scoring output with these six strikes, bringing her overall tally to nine goals in 44 appearances for the club since its return to the competition.
This weekend, the young star will aim to play a key role in the Elimination Final as they face Canberra United at Industree Group Stadium.
