On Monday, Brøndby secured their fourth win in five matches with a dramatic last-minute triumph against Randers, while FC Copenhagen moved ahead of FC Midtjylland in the title race, scraping a narrow victory over AGF. At the other end of the table, Vejle’s hopes of survival appear bleak, whereas Lyngby and AaB find themselves in a desperate fight to avoid relegation.
After a goalless stalemate with FC Nordsjælland, Brøndby returned to winning ways as they sought to keep pace with FC Midtjylland and FC Copenhagen for the Danish Championship. Their advantage became apparent after Norman Campbell received a second yellow card in the 64th minute, allowing Brøndby to press their advantage and clinch a thrilling 4-3 victory over Randers.
The home side managed to level the score twice following setbacks and seemed poised to secure a vital win in the title race when Japanese forward Yuito Suzuki converted a penalty that he earned in the 59th minute. However, just two minutes later, Nikolas Dyhr brought the high-scoring encounter back to parity with a brilliant volley, capitalising on a defensive mix-up in the box.
Brøndby mounted a relentless assault on the Randers goal in the dying moments, and their persistence paid off deep into stoppage time when Noah Nartey unleashed a stunning long-range shot that found the corner from the edge of the area.

After a promising start to the relegation playoff, Vejle’s ambitions of avoiding the drop took a significant hit as they suffered a humiliating 4-0 defeat against an in-form Silkeborg at home.
Vejle began brightly, coming close to taking the lead through a solid effort from Lasse Flo. However, Callum McCowatt opened the scoring for Silkeborg merely 17 minutes into the match.
Silkeborg showcased their creative one-touch football in the second half, effectively sealing the game with two quick goals within five minutes. Anders Klynge curled in a stunning shot into the far corner in the 51st minute, before Younes Bakiz made it three by tapping in a low shot that deflected off the post. Alexander Simmelhack capped off a torrid afternoon for Vejle with an easy finish five minutes from time.

Meanwhile, struggling Lyngby received a crucial boost in their fight against relegation, as Christian Gytkjær netted a late equaliser in their match against Viborg.
Viborg, buoyed by winning four of their last five games, began with confidence and took the lead in the 17th minute from an incisive counter-attack finished off by in-form striker Serginho.
The home side maintained their dominance and had opportunities to extend their lead in the entertaining first half, with Thomas Jørgensen missing a significant chance. Viborg continued to press in the second half, but were left frustrated when Amosike Ementa struck the woodwork.
Just as it seemed Viborg was on course for another victory, Gytkjær pounced on a cross from Oskar Buur to equalise.

In a heated clash at Parken Stadium, FC Copenhagen reclaimed the top spot in the Danish Superliga with a 3-1 victory over fierce rivals AGF. Although creativity was lacking from both sides, the first half did feature plenty of physical play.
The home side aimed to exploit the gaps behind Henrik Dalsgaard’s position in the visitors’ three-man defence and struck success in the 13th minute. Jordan Larsson broke free from Dalsgaard’s marking to square the ball to Viktor Claesson, who tapped in for the opener.
AGF, who had not won in their last three outings, tried to respond after the interval but struggled to carve out significant chances. Instead, FC Copenhagen extended their advantage in the 63rd minute when Elias Achouri set up the unmarked Larsson, who coolly slotted it past Jesper Hansen. Amin Chiakha increased the lead to 3-0 with a free header in the 81st minute, although Tobias Bech managed to pull one back just before the final whistle.
FC Copenhagen now leads the table with 50 points, one ahead of FC Midtjylland, who will face FC Nordsjælland on Tuesday. Brøndby occupies third place with 46 points.
