The Australian Professional Leagues (APL) has announced the postponement of the Round 29 Isuzu UTE A-League Men fixture between Wellington Phoenix and Perth Glory.
After their match against Auckland FC, Perth Glory remained in New Zealand. They were scheduled to travel to Wellington today, but all flights were cancelled due to severe storms and high winds in the region.
The APL collaborated with the clubs and the PFA in searching for all possible travel options to ensure the Glory’s safe and prompt arrival in Wellington. However, it was ultimately decided to reschedule the match for Sunday, 4 May, due to ongoing uncertainties surrounding travel and flight availability for tomorrow.
