“When I first joined the club, I often watched the academy sessions,” Jackson shared in this week’s episode of Total A-Leagues.

“I remember standing alongside Matt Simon, who remarked, ‘This kid right here is only 15. Whenever he’s moved up an age group or faces a challenge by playing against older players, he just rises to it’.
“Towards the end of last season, I thought it was time to bring him into the A-League. He seamlessly integrated into our plans. He has rapidly developed physically but still carries the appearance of his youth.
“He continues to improve with every training session and match, becoming stronger all the time. He’s a grounded young man brimming with talent and potential.
“He has a pragmatic approach, taking everything in his stride and just getting on with it.”
