The squads are set for Round 19 of the 2024-25 Ninja A-League season.
Adelaide United’s skipper, Isabel Hodgson, has been included in her team’s extended roster for the first time this season following a foot injury that kept the defender out for the first 18 rounds of the Ninja A-League.
Hodgson re-joins an Adelaide squad preparing to face top contenders Melbourne City in what promises to be the match of the round. City also sees the return of CommBank Matildas star Holly McNamara, back in the selection mix after fulfilling her international duties. McNamara’s return is complemented by defender Tyla-Jay Vlajnic, who is back in the A-League after representing the Serbian international team.
Elsewhere, Central Coast Mariners’ captain Bianca Galic and Wellington Phoenix striker Grace Jale have both overcome injury setbacks. Western United’s head coach Kat Smith has also welcomed back four players into her squad: Alyssa Dall’Oste, Sandra Ibarguen, Avaani Prakash, and Melissa Taranto.
