PSV defender Olivier Boscagli is set to join Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion following the expiration of his contract in Eindhoven.
The 27-year-old defender made his move to PSV in 2019 and has since become a key figure in the team’s setup, significantly contributing to PSV’s title pursuits in both 2024 and 2025.
Born in Monaco, Boscagli has appeared in 204 matches across all competitions for the reigning Eredivisie champions but has decided against renewing his contract and will depart on a free transfer.
Multiple sources, including Fabrizio Romano and Florian Plettenberg from Sky, indicate that Boscagli will be joining Brighton & Hove Albion once his contract lapses. Brighton has shown persistent interest in the defender, having attempted to bring him to the Amex Stadium during the summer of 2024. However, PSV denied their advances after rejecting a bid exceeding £8 million.
During his time with PSV, centre-back Boscagli secured two Eredivisie titles, lifted the KNVB Beker on two occasions, and celebrated victory in three Johan Cruyff Shields.
