Angelino found the net in the 92nd minute, helping Roma secure a 1-1 draw against Napoli at the Stadio Olimpico, which marked an impressive extension of their unbeaten streak in Serie A to seven matches.
Having won three of their last four encounters in the league, Roma aimed for a strong performance against the league leaders to tighten their grip on a top-six finish.
However, it was Napoli who started stronger during a tense opening 20 minutes, with Scott McTominay’s close-range effort comfortably denied by goalkeeper Mile Svilar.
The visitors consolidated their dominance and broke the deadlock in the 29th minute when former Roma player Leonardo Spinazzola latched onto a long ball from Juan Jesus, executing a sublime finish over the advancing Svilar.
As the hosts searched for a way back before half-time, Alex Meret in the Napoli goal thwarted their efforts, making a sharp save from Evan Ndicka’s header to maintain Gli Azzurri’s slender lead.

Having been unbeaten in nine of their last ten meetings (W6, D3, L1), the visitors continued to impose themselves after the break, though McTominay squandered a promising chance, sending the ball over the bar following an assist from Romelu Lukaku.
That miss proved a wake-up call for Claudio Ranieri’s side, who nearly equalised when Leandro Paredes’ beautifully curled free-kick narrowly hit the outside of the post.
With just 15 minutes remaining, the contest remained finely balanced, prompting Roma to introduce Paulo Dybala off the bench in search of a late equaliser.
As the match approached stoppage time, it seemed Napoli would hold on for the win, but Angelino produced a stunning volley from Alexis Saelemaekers’ pinpoint cross, finding the far corner and leaving the contest knotted at 1-1.
This result means Roma have extended their unbeaten home run to eight matches across all competitions (W7, D1), while Napoli’s seven-match winning streak is halted, and they miss the opportunity to move five points clear at the top of Serie A.
