Sam Burgess has touched down in Las Vegas, greeted by a throng of reporters after navigating his visa challenges.
The ex-Rabbitohs premiership winner, who is now at the helm of Warrington, was unable to join his squad on their flight to the United States due to an extended visa process.
Warrington is set to feature in the opening match of the Las Vegas event, where they will face off against the Wigan Warriors.
Upon his arrival, Burgess expressed his excitement, stating it was “great to be here,” after making a trip to London to sort out his visa issues.

Due to his previous criminal record, which includes driving-related offences from 2021, Burgess needed to undergo a standard interview process with the US consulate.
This issue was rectified by Wednesday.
Burgess expressed that he was always optimistic about a resolution.
“I was confident I’d make it here eventually, it just took a couple of extra days,” he remarked.
“I’m just thrilled to be here now, eager for the week ahead and excited for some fantastic rugby matches on Saturday.”
The 36-year-old did confess to feeling a bit anxious about being away from his team.
“I have missed the boys; I felt slightly apprehensive about not being here while they are in a new location and environment,” Burgess noted.
“However, by all accounts, they’ve had a great time and have been behaving well.”
