Perth Glory has officially announced that 19-year-old forward Jaylan Pearman is set to leave the Isuzu UTE A-League club, joining four other players whose contracts will conclude at the end of June.
The promising young talent is anticipated to sign with EFL Championship side Queens Park Rangers in England for the 2025-26 season, where he will reunite with fellow Glory academy graduate Daniel Bennie, who moved to QPR after his debut season with Glory in 2023-24.

Having come through the club’s academy, Pearman made his senior debut in January, featuring in 12 league matches and netting four goals under head coach David Zdrilic.
The young forward concluded the season on a high note with a nomination for the Boost Mobile Young Footballer of the Year in April/May, and he was awarded the Shark Player of the Month title for the same period following a fan vote.
During the club’s Most Glorious Player Awards held in early May, Pearman was presented with the DT38 Young Player of the Year accolade for his impressive first season with the first team.
Glory CEO Anthony Radich extended his best wishes to the departing quintet for their future ventures, while vice-chairman Jason Bontempo expressed particular gratitude to Pearman and Warland, who are set to embark on new opportunities next season.
“On behalf of the club, I would like to sincerely thank these players for their contributions both on and off the field this year, and for some, over several seasons,” Radich remarked.
“They will always hold a special place in our hearts here at Perth Glory, and we wish them every success in their future endeavours.”
“A special shout-out to Jaylan and Riley, who have both risen through the Perth Glory Academy from juniors to professional players,” Bontempo added.
“As they move on to the next chapters in their football journeys, we wish them all the very best.”
