Danish midfielder Christian Norgaard has been ruled out with a concussion following the clash against Leicester, meaning he won’t be available for Brentford’s encounter with Everton on Wednesday.
The in-form Brentford side will miss captain Christian Norgaard as they take on Everton in their upcoming match.
The Premier League outfit confirmed that their Danish captain sustained a concussion during Friday’s game at Leicester, where he was substituted at half-time.
The announcement was made via the club’s official account on X.
“Unfortunately, Christian Nørgaard is unavailable. He’s suffering from a concussion. While he felt fine initially on the pitch, his condition worsened by half-time, prompting us to make the substitution,” said coach Thomas Frank.
At this stage, it remains uncertain how long Nørgaard will be sidelined.
He had earlier scored a superb header past Leicester’s Mads Hermansen in Brentford’s impressive 4-0 victory.
Brentford have celebrated wins in three of their last four Premier League outings and currently occupy 11th position on the table.
