Adelaide United has officially announced that their Ninja A-League Player of the Season, Erin Healy, will be staying with the club for the next season, following the activation of a clause in her contract during a stellar debut campaign.
Healy delivered an outstanding performance in her inaugural season with the Reds, netting eight goals across 19 matches and emerging as one of the most thrilling talents in the league.
Her remarkable achievements were celebrated with the prestigious 2025 Dianne Alagich Medal for Adelaide United’s Most Valuable Player, in addition to being honoured as the club’s Members’ A-League Women Player of the Year.
In a fitting culmination of her impressive debut year in Australia, Healy has also received her first call-up to the Republic of Ireland Women’s National Team, joining the squad for vital UEFA Women’s Nations League fixtures against Türkiye and Slovenia.
“I’m absolutely thrilled to be in Adelaide for another season,” Healy expressed. “It’s been a truly special year for me — both on and off the pitch — and I’ve cherished every moment representing this Club.
“We have an incredible team here, and I’m eager to return to training and contribute towards pushing the team even further next season.”

“She’s not only a top-class player but an even better individual, and we’re eager to see what she can accomplish in her second season with the Reds.”
Securing Healy’s signature is a significant win for Adelaide, following the club’s most successful season in the Ninja A-League to date.
