St George Illawarra has issued a statement following the emergence of a TikTok video showing a fan in a Dragons jersey hurling a meat pie at a Bulldogs supporter during Saturday’s game.
The Bulldogs triumphed 28-20 at Jubilee Stadium in what commentators labelled a hostile encounter.
Both clubs share a long-standing rivalry and are slated to face off in Las Vegas next year.
In the club’s statement, the incident was deemed as “anti-social behaviour”.
“The Dragons are aware of a video circulating on social platforms highlighting anti-social conduct from a Dragons supporter during last night’s match against the Bulldogs at Nestrata Jubilee Stadium,” the statement read.

“The Dragons condemn any such conduct in the strongest possible terms and will cooperate with the NRL regarding any violations of the spectator code of conduct.
“We extend our heartfelt apologies to the Bulldogs fan affected by the incident. We will work with the Bulldogs to personally convey our apologies to the fan.

“As a club, we aim for all fans, both home and away, to feel secure at our events. Any actions that compromise the safety of others will be addressed seriously.
“The Dragons would also like to emphasise that the actions of one individual should not overshadow what was, overall, a respectful sellout crowd with both clubs’ supporters enjoying the match in great spirits.”
