The Queensland Reds have encountered a setback on gameday, with Wallabies playmaker Tom Lynagh exiting the squad for their clash against the Crusaders in Christchurch.
Stepping in for Lynagh on the bench is Louis Werchon, although the Reds have not provided any details regarding the change.
The undefeated Reds are entering the match with a great deal of confidence, having previously pulled off a remarkable victory against Super Rugby’s most successful franchise on their turf last season.
Under the guidance of second-year coach Les Kiss, Queensland are displaying a considerable amount of freedom in their play, while the Crusaders boast the talents of former Reds star James O’Connor.
