Steve Corica, the head coach of Auckland FC, has been awarded the Coach of the Month for January/February in the Isuzu UTE A-League following a public vote.
This marks Corica’s fourth consecutive victory this season, as he secured the first three monthly accolades of the 2024-25 campaign earlier.
Corica was nominated alongside John Aloisi of Western United, Arthur Diles from Melbourne Victory, and Rob Stanton of Newcastle Jets, but it was Corica who garnered the highest number of votes among the four to claim the January honour.

Corica was put forward for the January/February accolade through the monthly nomination procedure established by Football Coaches Australia (FCA).
YOUNG SOCCEROOS: A football revolution is underway, driven by a remarkable 12,000-minute growth spurt
The Australian Professional Leagues (APL) collaborated with the FCA in the 2022-23 season to empower fans in recognising exceptional coaching achievements within both the Ninja A-League Women and the Isuzu UTE A-League Men.
An experienced panel from the FCA selects the monthly nominees for Coach of the Month across both leagues, and the ultimate winner is determined by a fan vote.
The eligibility period for the January/February award encompassed Rounds 16-20 of the Isuzu UTE A-League season, with results from January 24 to February 23 taken into account by the FCA Panel when selecting nominees for the Coach of the Month.
During this eligibility window, Corica directed four matches, achieving victories in all against Wellington Phoenix, Western United, Macarthur Bulls, and Western Sydney Wanderers.
