The Motorsport Australia SA/NT State Awards, proudly sponsored by Shannons Insurance, has celebrated its 2024 victors.
More than 90 attendees gathered for the event at the Arkarba Hotel Fullarton in Adelaide, with Bruce Astbury as the host.
Andrew Robinson was recognised as the SA/NT Official of the Year, marking a highlight of the evening and a well-deserved acknowledgment of his exceptional contributions to motorsport.
Throughout the years, Robinson has significantly impacted the sport in various capacities, from grassroots racing events to prominent national competitions such as the Bathurst 12 Hour and the Adelaide 500.
Emerging star Luke Maeder also received the spotlight, being awarded the SA/NT Future Star for his remarkable commitment to motorsport.

At the age of 19, Maeder wrapped up his debut season in Formula Vee in 2024, clinching titles such as Rookie of the Year, Best Presented Team and Car, the Ovenden Cup, and a podium finish in Round 4 of the club and state trophy.
Chris Frith received the Service Award, while Ben Erceg and Scott Thompson were honoured as Service Star recipients for their outstanding contributions to the sport.
In various categories, Jill Rodda was awarded Auto Test Official of the Year, and Katrina Steggles was recognised as the Speed Official of the Year.
Garry Hales was named Rally Official of the Year, while Chris Platt took home the Circuit Official of the Year award.
The awards night also recognised the passionate clubs that continue to energise the motorsport scene.
The Sporting Car Club of SA claimed the esteemed SA/NT Event of the Year title, marking their 90th anniversary in 2024.

This club proudly orchestrated a variety of events throughout 2024, which included eight rounds of the SA Motor Racing Championship and Collingrove Hillclimb events.
Motorsport Australia also recognised special milestones for clubs, celebrating their unwavering commitment to the motorsport community throughout the years.
The Bolwell Car Club of South Australia marked a fantastic 50 years, while the Impreza WRX Club of SA reached 25 years, both honoured for their long-standing involvement in the sport.
Motorsport Australia extends heartfelt congratulations to all award recipients and expresses gratitude to the officials, volunteers, and supporters whose dedication makes motorsport events achievable in South Australia and the Northern Territory.
