Josh Giddey is continuing his remarkable form with the Chicago Bulls, matching one of the franchise’s most celebrated players.
The talented Australian showcased his skills once again on Thursday afternoon (AEDT), delivering a solid 20-point double-double, although the Bulls were narrowly defeated by the Los Angeles Clippers.
Giddey concluded the match with 21 points and 12 assists, achieving a notable milestone that sees him level with the legendary Michael Jordan.
His new teammate, Zach Collins, expressed admiration for the rising star from Melbourne.
“He’s been on an incredible streak lately,” Collins remarked.
“We’re all reaping the benefits, no doubt. He’s attracting a lot of attention with his shooting as well. We just need to be ready to make our shots when he finds us.”
“He’s an outstanding passer with a high basketball IQ, making him a fantastic player to team up with.”

Giddey faced off against fellow Australian star Ben Simmons, who ultimately led his team to a 122-117 victory.
Simmons finished with six points, eight assists, and eight rebounds, before swapping jerseys with Giddey and signing it post-game.
The Bulls will take on the Toronto Raptors next, with the match set for Saturday (AEDT).
