Danish midfielder Christian Nørgaard has been ruled out with a concussion following the recent match against Leicester City and will not feature when Brentford takes on Everton this Wednesday.
The in-form Brentford side will have to cope without their captain, Christian Nørgaard, in their upcoming clash with Everton.
Brentford’s Danish skipper suffered a concussion during Friday’s encounter at Leicester, prompting his substitution at the half-time break.
The club made the announcement on social media platform X.
“Regrettably, Christian Nørgaard is unavailable. He is sidelined due to a concussion. He felt fine during the match, but his condition deteriorated at half-time, leading us to make the change,” commented coach Thomas Frank.
The duration of Nørgaard’s absence remains uncertain.
In the match against Leicester, Nørgaard scored with a superb header past Mads Hermansen, contributing to Brentford’s emphatic 4-0 victory.
Brentford has triumphed in three of their last four Premier League outings and currently sits in 11th position on the ladder.
