Jillaroos star Tarryn Aiken revealed that she and her teammates expressed sympathy for England following a staggering 90-4 victory in Las Vegas on Sunday.
The Jillaroos created history with their phenomenal win, with Aiken playing a pivotal role, delivering an incredible six try assists.
“It’s a bit of a difficult situation,” Aiken shared with Wide World of Sports.

“We came here to accomplish a task and to demonstrate to the world just how talented the Jillaroos are.
“However, it is tough for the opposing side in these circumstances, and I did feel for them.”
“That’s rugby league – they’re a solid team and they’ll rebound.”

Aiken noted that both sides were shaken when the game was halted for eight minutes in the first half after English player Vicky Whitfield was knocked unconscious while fielding a kick-off.
An ambulance swiftly transported Whitfield to a hospital, where she remained overnight for monitoring.
“We were genuinely concerned for her; it’s frightening when such incidents occur right before you,” Aiken said.
“We hope she makes a full recovery.”
This match marked the first occasion any women’s code was played at Allegiant Stadium, and the Jillaroos were thrilled to have delivered such a commanding performance, particularly highlighted by Tamika Upton’s five tries.
“The whole experience felt surreal; the entire week has been absolutely fantastic,” she reflected.
