Following an exhilarating season opener in Sydney last month, the Repco Supercars Championship makes its return this weekend at Australia’s premier motorsport event – the Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Australian Grand Prix 2025.
A key fixture of this internationally celebrated occasion for years, this year’s MSS Security Melbourne SuperSprint promises a host of thrilling storylines to captivate fans throughout the four races scheduled.

One of the most significant developments since the last round is Aaron Love’s exit from Blanchard Racing Team, with FIA Motorsports Games Team Australia member and current Super2 competitor, Aaron Cameron, stepping into his place.
While the spotlight will certainly be on how Supercars’ latest addition performs on the Albert Park streets, the fierce competition among the front-runners will undoubtedly spark the most conversation.

Championship leader Cam Waters had an outstanding weekend at Eastern Creek, achieving a clean sweep of victories in the opening round with his Tickford Mustang. However, he arrives at a venue that has not been very forgiving to him lately, with his last podium finish in Melbourne dating back to 2019.
The Victorian will undoubtedly aim to continue his impressive momentum this weekend, yet he will face competition from Chaz Mostert, who is coming off an unforgettable performance at the Race of Champions, along with the two Red Bull Ampol Racing entries of Will Brown and Broc Feeney – all of whom have claimed victories and podiums at Albert Park in the past three seasons.
As per tradition, Australia’s leading racing championship will host four races throughout the weekend, with its busiest day being Thursday, featuring a remarkable five sessions, including the first race of the round.
Alongside the Supercars, the Porsche Paynter Dixon Carrera Cup Australia stands as the only other national championship on the Formula 1 support program, complemented by the FIA Formula 2 Championship and FIA Formula 3 Championship.
The MSS Security Melbourne SuperSprint will take place at the Albert Park Street Circuit as part of the Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Australian Grand Prix from 13-16 March.
