Scott Boland has further cemented his affection for the SCG, achieving personal best figures during the Sheffield Shield encounter between Victoria and NSW.
The seasoned paceman was exceptional in the first innings, taking 4 wickets for 56 runs against the Blues, and followed it up with an impressive 6 for 46 in the second innings.
This brought his match tally to 10 wickets for 102 runs, marking the finest performance of his first-class career and bolstering his chances for selection in the World Test Championship final in June.

His previous best was set during the latest Test series against India at the same ground.
Among his victims were Sam Konstas, whom Boland dismissed in both innings, alongside Ollie Davies, Jack Edwards, and Kurtis Patterson.
Konstas faced significant scrutiny following an earlier performance in which he was bowled by Boland for 10 off 7 balls after attempting a poorly executed hack shot.
However, the teenager showed improvement in his second innings, scoring just 17 off 44 balls before edging a catch to Boland.
The 36-year-old Boland played a crucial role in bowling NSW out for 174 in their second innings, setting Victoria a challenging target of 231 runs to claim the Shield match.
Things didn’t start well for Victoria with the bat, losing their first three wickets for a mere 11 runs, which included former Test opener Marcus Harris amongst those dismissed.
