The Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Australian Grand Prix 2025 promises to be a remarkable occasion, brought to life by Motorsport Australia.
Whether it’s nurturing the next wave of talent or paying tribute to motorsport icons, there are numerous ways for fans to engage with the sporting community.
Returning for the 2025 event is the FIA Motorsport Australia Girls on Track Career Development and Mentoring Program, designed to give young women aged 16-22 a firsthand glimpse into the world of motorsport.

Slated for Thursday, 13 March, this initiative will provide participants with an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at one of the world’s most prestigious motorsport events. Highlights include a garage tour with the Kick Sauber F1 Team, a meet-and-greet with its drivers, networking opportunities with industry experts, and Q&A sessions featuring influential guest speakers who will share insights on careers in motorsport.
“Girls on Track is an outstanding program that genuinely reflects the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion within motorsport,” stated Stefano Battiston, Chief Commercial Officer of Sauber Motorsport.
“Partnering with Motorsport Australia on this initiative enables us to dismantle barriers, enhance accessibility in our sport, and inspire the next generation of young women and girls to envision a future in motorsport.
“Participants will not only delve into the vibrant world of racing but also understand the opportunities that exist off the track. This program opens avenues and nurtures a more inclusive community, which is essential for the growth and advancement of our sport.”
Now in its fourth iteration, the program continues to embolden young women, with numerous past attendees securing impactful roles in high-profile events such as MotoGP and the Australian Grand Prix Corporation.
“Girls on Track is focused on creating opportunities and breaking down the barriers for women in motorsport,” said Charlie Barlow, Development Manager at Motorsport Australia.
“This initiative offers a unique, hands-on experience at one of the globe’s top motorsport events, linking participants with industry professionals and tangible career pathways. We’ve seen previous participants land phenomenal roles in motorsport, and we look forward to inspiring the next generation of talent for 2025 and beyond.”
