The contract saga surrounding Dylan Brown has finally reached a conclusion.
As reported by The Sydney Morning Herald, the 24-year-old playmaker has agreed to a decade-long contract with the Knights, set to commence from the next season.
The total value of the deal is estimated to be around $14 million.

Brown shared his decision with his teammates at Parramatta on Monday, even though he had until round 10 to exercise his player option for the 2026 season.
This news is a significant setback for the Eels, who have embarked on a rebuilding phase under new head coach Jason Ryles and have only just secured a contract extension for halfback Mitchell Moses.
The timing of the announcement follows a disappointing defeat in round one against the Melbourne Storm.

The speedy Kiwi initially signed an eight-year agreement with the Eels that was intended to last until 2031, assuming he chose to honour the contract clauses.
His transfer to Newcastle will set the stage for an exciting partnership with star fullback Kalyn Ponga, with both players poised to command a substantial portion of the club’s salary cap.
At this point, neither the Newcastle Knights nor Parramatta Eels have officially announced Brown’s move.
