Canberra Raiders star Joseph Tapine faces a tense period back in Australia following his dismissal for a shoulder charge on Warriors captain Mitchell Barnett.
With a comfortable lead of 20 points over the Warriors in the second half, the Raiders found themselves down to 12 players when Tapine was sent to the sin bin by referee Grant Atkins.
The decision came after the 30-year-old raced out of the defensive line to tackle Barnett, a move that raised eyebrows when the Warriors co-captain hit the ground at Allegiant Stadium.

“He needs to wrap his left shoulder and arms around the opponent… but he hasn’t made that attempt,” Braith Anasta remarked on Fox League.
“There was no intent at all. He tried to lift his arm after the contact was made.”
Barnett was assessed by the medical staff but returned to his feet and continued with the game.
Despite gaining favourable field position, the Warriors were unable to capitalise on having an extra player, as errors disrupted their chances.
“The Warriors seem to be lost. They’ve shown no direction and are unorganised,” Anasta added.
Roger Tuivasa-Sheck managed to score a try while the Raiders were down a player, yet the Kiwi side rarely looked threatening as they were ultimately defeated 30-8.
