Sydney FC has officially confirmed the exit of striker Patryk Klimala, following the closure of his loan agreement with the Isuzu UTE A-League club.
The talented forward is expected to head back to his parent club, Polish side Slask Wroclaw, after completing a season-long loan with Sydney.

Klimala, who previously played for Celtic and New York Red Bulls, netted 17 goals across all competitions, including 11 in the A-League, as the Sky Blues fell short of the top six but made it to the historic AFC Champions League Two semi-final.

“Sydney FC extends its gratitude to Patryk Klimala for his contributions during his season-long loan,” the club posted on social media.
“It’s been a wonderful experience, filled with fantastic memories along the way.
“We eagerly await your next chapter.”

The 26-year-old forward finished just two goals behind his teammate, Adrian Segecic, who shared the Golden Boot at the end of the 2024-25 Isuzu UTE A-League regular season.
Klimala also made his mark in two Sydney Derby matches this season, scoring as the Sky Blues triumphed 4-2 in November and later drawing 3-3 in February.

“I could express so much, but words hardly capture my gratitude for the time I’ve spent here,” he shared on Instagram. “Thank you to the team, the coaches, and the fans for everything I’ve experienced.
