Welcome to Wide World of Sports’ live updates on the Super Rugby Pacific showdown between the Blues and the Brumbies.
Two of the league’s titans are currently navigating an unexpected 1-2 record after a sluggish beginning to the season.
The reigning champions, the Blues, return to their stronghold at Eden Park with renewed confidence, having triumphed over the Hurricanes in Wellington last week.
Beauden Barrett makes a return to the No.10 jersey after spending the first three rounds at fullback.
“I believe that’s the best spot for Beauden Barrett,” said Justin Harrison on Stan Sport’s The Call Up.
“He’ll touch the ball far more frequently, his imposing presence will challenge the defence, making it essential for Rory Scott and Charlie Cale to keep an eye on him, thereby creating opportunities for the outside backs.”
