Blaize Talagi is set to finally showcase his skills in the position he was signed for at Penrith, starting in the No. 6 jersey on Thursday night.
The promising youngster, who made the switch from the Eels in the off-season, has only featured in one NRL match for his new club, having come off the bench a few weeks back.
With Jack Cole ruled out and the reigning champions eager for a turnaround, Talagi has been drafted into the lineup and will partner Nathan Cleary in the halves.

Brad Fittler is keen to observe how the 20-year-old fares but is puzzled as to why it took Penrith so long to give him a chance.
“It’ll be interesting to see how he performs,” Fittler commented on Nine’s Freddy and The Eighth.
“I haven’t quite understood why he hasn’t been played yet, but they’re better judges than anyone at selecting their team. He can fill any position… he’s a genuine footy player.”
Meanwhile, Andrew Johns commended Ivan Cleary for his measured approach.
“He’s undoubtedly talented, but credit also goes to Penrith,” he stated.
“You have to earn your place in the team, for whatever reason – give Penrith the credit they deserve.”
