England’s Jofra Archer faced a brutal onslaught as Travis Head struck a quick-fire half-century during the first night of the IPL.
Head concluded his innings with a remarkable 67 runs off just 31 balls, while his teammate Ishan Kishan smashed a stunning century, propelling Sunrisers Hyderabad to an astounding total against the Rajasthan Royals.
Kishan’s impressive unbeaten 106 came off only 47 deliveries, enabling his team to amass the second-highest score in IPL history, finishing with 6-286 after 20 overs.
In the midst of the scoring frenzy was Archer, who ended up with disappointing figures of 0-76 across his four overs.

Despite a valiant effort from the Royals, highlighted by Dhruv Jurel’s 70 runs, they couldn’t successfully chase down the target, losing by 44 runs.
