Ajax’s director, Marijn Beuker, has confirmed during ESPN’s ‘Goedemorgen Eredivisie’ that the club is eyeing players including Christian Eriksen and Dusan Tadic.
The Dutch club has had longstanding connections with former stars Eriksen and Tadic, but until now, Ajax had not publicly acknowledged their interest.
In the latest episode of ‘Goedemorgen Eredivisie’, Beuker revealed that they are considering potential signings such as Manchester United’s Christian Eriksen, Fenerbahce’s Dusan Tadic, and Girona’s Daley Blind, provided it aligns with their strategy.
“These kinds of players are certainly worth considering,” Beuker stated. “However, any moves must fit within our current phase and budget.”
“It’s also important that we don’t impede the progress of our youth players. It’s evident that we are open to exploring these options, but everything must integrate well into our vision for the future.”

Both Eriksen and Tadic are set to become free agents this summer. For Eriksen, it appears he may part ways with Manchester United if discussions regarding a contract renewal do not advance positively.
The 33-year-old Eriksen made his debut for Ajax as a professional player in January 2010 when he was just 17 years old, eventually playing 162 matches for the esteemed Dutch club.
“He is certainly among the players who have excelled with us in the past, and he is on our radar. There will undoubtedly be a lot of speculation in the media.”
